Montezuma Castle is the Queen Anne landmark building of the former Montezuma Hotel, a railroad-era resort near the hot springs outside Las Vegas, New Mexico, and is now part of the United World College campus. The 1978 horror film The Evil was shot there, and stories since then tell of a woman in white. The building has had many lives, and those who work and study there say it carries them.
The campus is a working school and is closed to casual visitors. There are periodic public events, and tours can be arranged through local tour operators; check the college first.
