Sachs Covered Bridge, built in 1854 over Marsh Creek west of Gettysburg, was crossed by both armies during the 1863 battle, and Confederate soldiers were reportedly hanged or executed near it. VisitPA's haunted-places list names the bridge among the Gettysburg sites with multiple paranormal sightings, and visitors have reported soldiers' voices and apparitions in the woods.
A pedestrian covered bridge on a county road, free and open in daylight; Gettysburg ghost tours also visit it.
