Thistle Hill, also called the Wharton-Scott House, is a 1903 Georgian Revival mansion on Fort Worth's Pennsylvania Avenue tied to the Wharton and Scott families and the city's cattle fortunes, and a Texas Historic Landmark since 1977. It is now a museum and event venue run by Historic Fort Worth. Local ghost tours say Electra Wharton, who died at 43, and the Scott family remain, citing knocking, footsteps and music from the third-floor ballroom and a woman in a white dress.
Museum and event venue; tours and ghost tours are offered on set dates, so check the Historic Fort Worth website.
