Shingle Creek Cemetery, on Old Vineland Road behind Shingle Creek United Methodist Church, is the burial site of a Confederate soldier who died in 1863, along with several Confederate veterans and long-established Osceola County families. Visitors have reported the figure of a man in grey walking the grounds; one Vietnam veteran said the man in grey appeared, saluted him, and warned him to "be careful" before vanishing. The cemetery is privately owned but open to public visitors.
Historic cemetery behind Shingle Creek United Methodist Church. It is church property, so visit during daylight, avoid worship times and treat the graves with respect.
