Little Gardens operates today as an event venue, and while local legend describes it as an 1800s plantation house, at least one historical account disputes that origin, dating the building instead to the 1930s and disputing that it was ever a working plantation. Whatever its true age, staff and guests have long reported the presence of a woman said to have died there in the early 1900s: dishes and silverware moving or flung across tables, cold spots, unexplained footsteps, and bathroom doors that open and close on their own, concentrated mostly on the building's upper floor.
The estate is now an event venue called Natalie House. Visit through an event or by arrangement with the venue; it is not open to walk-in visitors.
