Established in 1841 behind Roswell Presbyterian Church, this cemetery holds many of the town's most prominent early citizens, including founder Archibald Smith and his wife Anne Margaret McGill Smith. A 2010 ground-penetrating radar survey identified 18 unmarked graves within the grounds, including those believed to belong to two of the Smiths' daughters. Visitors report a red orb floating between the trees that several people watched simultaneously, along with ghostly forms and orbs captured on camera and a white, filmy mist reported settling over a child's grave.
Active cemetery behind Roswell Presbyterian Church, at Atlanta and Oak Streets. Visit in daylight, keep to the paths and be respectful of burials.
