The Hubbell House in Mantorville has stood since 1856 and is one of the oldest restaurants in Minnesota, once a stagecoach inn on the road west. Staff have reported ghostly encounters in the building for years, and regional radio stations have told their stories, and the house is a regular stop on the ghost tours of Mantorville and Rochester led by the paranormal investigator Dr. Hawk Horvath. It sits in a village known for its haunted buildings, including the Opera House. The restaurant has reopened after a renovation and serves dinner.
