The Canfield Casino in Congress Park, opened in 1870 by the gambler John Morrissey and now the Saratoga Springs History Museum, is said to be haunted by a phantom woman in Victorian dress. Staff and visitors report roulette wheels that spin on their own, chandeliers that chime, footsteps and shoulder tugs. The Ghost Hunters team conducted an overnight investigation here in 2010.
Museum open daily in season with seasonal ghost tours; check the Saratoga Springs History Museum.
