The Wort Hotel on Jackson's town square, built in 1941 and rebuilt after a fire, is a Historic Hotels of America member. Its hotel blog tells of Bob Tomingas, a maintenance man who worked there from 1950 until the mid-1990s and is said to rearrange tools and help staff find problems, a friendly presence rather than a scary one; Travel Wyoming also mentions two children said to appear in windows.
Working hotel with restaurants and a self-guided Western art tour; the lobby is open to visitors.
