The Theatre Workshop of Owensboro performs in the Old Trinity Centre, a Gothic Revival building erected in 1875 as an Episcopal church and often described as the oldest brick church in Owensboro. The Haunts of Owensboro ghost tour, now in its second decade, starts at the building, and the theater is often named as one of the most haunted places in the area. Staff and volunteers describe lights and a presence in the old sanctuary. A story of a hanging in the building is retold locally, but no records support it.
Community theater in the Old Trinity Centre; see a show or join a Haunts of Owensboro tour in the fall season. The building is otherwise not open for drop-in visits, so check the theater's calendar.
