Lula, Georgia

Lula's railroad trestle has a real and repeated history of pedestrian deaths on its tracks over the years, though the specific woman said to haunt the site isn't tied to a documented name or date. Local legend holds that her ghost hovers over the tracks where she died, and that the train that struck her can sometimes be seen retracing its route. Visitors who walk the trestle in a group at night and stop to count heads say they sometimes find one more person among them than started the walk. The site is now under video surveillance following several deaths there.
