Terrell Castle, also called The Lambermont, is a castle-style mansion on East Grayson Street built in 1894 for Edwin Holland Terrell, a diplomat who served as U.S. minister to Belgium, and designed by architect Alfred Giles. San Antonio ghost lore holds that sounds of children playing, footsteps in the hallways and objects moving are experienced here, and that Terrell, who died in the house in 1910, remains. It later served as a bed and breakfast and events venue, and has been privately owned and listed for sale in recent years.
Private property; it is not open to the public, but the exterior can be seen from the street. Please stay off the grounds.
