This 11-story atrium hotel near O'Hare Airport has a somber real history of multiple suicides by jumping from its upper floors, along with reported drug overdose deaths in the building. A man in a suit is said to be seen looking over the east-side top-floor balcony — the same spot where a guest jumped to his death in the fall of 2001. Guests have reported dark figures moving through their rooms at night, belongings found scattered despite locked doors, and unexplained voices and typing sounds heard by overnight staff with no obvious source.
Operating hotel, now called the Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare. The lobby and atrium can be visited as a guest or diner; guest rooms are for guests. The hotel's history includes real deaths, so please be respectful.
