The Ghost Research Society formally investigated the Havana Park District Gym on June 1, 2013. Local legend holds that a young man was accidentally locked inside overnight and died there, and that his ghost still returns to shoot baskets after hours, disappearing the moment the lights come on; some report hearing him call for help. A second presence, nicknamed "Sam," is thought to be a former custodian still going through his old routines around the building.
Working park district gymnasium used for recreation programs, so you can go in when the park district has it open for an activity. Contact the Havana Park District for hours.
