The Old Courthouse Museum is the former Minnehaha County Courthouse, a Sioux quartzite building from the 1890s that now holds the Siouxland Heritage Museums' exhibits. Travel South Dakota lists it among the state's haunted places: staff and visitors report disembodied voices, phantom footsteps, moved exhibits, a water fountain that misbehaves and a ghostly man who sweeps the floor of a former courtroom before disappearing.
Museum open regular hours; Sioux Falls ghost walks include the building.
