The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County in Exposition Park opened in 1913 and holds one of the largest natural and cultural collections in the country. It is not a place that promotes hauntings, but Ghost Files spent a night there in "A Haunted Night at the Natural History Museum" (2024), looking into stories of a lost girl, a former curator and other presences said to remain after closing time. The stories come from staff and the series, not from the museum.
Public museum open regular daytime hours; the paranormal stories are not part of its programs.
