The Dalton Little Theatre, a community theater company whose roots go back to the 1800s, has performed since 1981 in the former Dalton firehouse, built in 1888 and also called the Firehouse Theatre. Local ghost-tour guides and newspapers say it is haunted by a firefighter who died there after returning from a call in the 1950s. Connie Hall-Scott, author of Haunted Dalton, Georgia, includes it on her Dalton ghost tours.
Working community theater in downtown Dalton; check the box office for shows. Dalton ghost tours run on October Friday and Saturday nights and by arrangement.
