The Bullock Hotel on Main Street in Deadwood was built in 1895 by Seth Bullock, the town's first sheriff and a friend of Theodore Roosevelt, and is now a hotel and casino. Dozens of reports, including a Rapid City Journal feature and Dread Central, say Bullock still hosts there: a strong presence in several rooms, hallways and the cellar, with Room 211 the best known, and guests' belongings that are moved from one place to another. The hotel offers its own ghost tour.
Working hotel and casino; ask the front desk about the ghost tour and room availability.
