Two Rivers Mansion in Donelson is an 1859 antebellum house built for David McGavock and his family, now a Metro Nashville historic site. Stories name ghosts of McGavock family members, Civil War soldiers and earlier inhabitants, and staff and visitors report footsteps, lights that switch off and on and objects that disappear. The mansion reopened after a major restoration and offers a Spirit Legends tour that mixes history with ghost stories. The house also hosts concerts, movie nights and events.
Open for tours seasonally, usually June through October, and for events; check Two Rivers Mansion's site for dates and tickets.
