Polynesian Cultural Center (Laie Lady)

At the Polynesian Cultural Center's lagoon, staff and guests tell of the "Laie Lady," a woman named Nalani who is said to have lost her mind with grief after her husband and son both died — now said to wander the lagoon at night, dressed in white, searching for company to replace the son she lost. Elsewhere on the grounds, the Fiji village's drums are sometimes heard playing on their own, and visitors to the Marquesas village report the sound of a small boy crying and screaming with no one in sight.
