Mililani, Hawaii

Local legend surrounds a statue of a man on horseback in this Mililani cemetery, said to come alive at midnight. According to the story, circling it while driving at night with your headlights on will make the statue dance and stare back at you — and that lingering too long risks your car stalling out or the statue's gaze following you home.
Mililani Memorial Park is an active cemetery. Visit in daylight and be respectful of mourners. We could not verify the statue legend.
