The Park Hotel on South Bass Island is a Victorian hotel from the 1870s in the center of Put-in-Bay. TourismOhio's haunted list tells of a spirit called the Governess, said to stay in Room 14 and watch over children, along with ghosts in period clothing and ballroom music with no source. These are the hotel's long-told stories; staff may share them at the front desk.
Historic hotel open seasonally on a busy island; the ferry crossing from Port Clinton or Catawba is the usual way to reach Put-in-Bay. Check the hotel for dates and rooms.
