The Kelton House was built in 1852 by Columbus merchant Fernando Cortez Kelton and lived in by three generations of his family, who were abolitionists whose home served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. It is now a museum run by the Junior League of Columbus. Staff and local media have described a woman's presence the museum associates with Grace Kelton, who lived in the house into the 1970s, and a man seen smoking in the garden who has been identified as Oscar Kelton. The museum offers ghost tours in the fall.
House museum open for guided tours on a regular schedule, with special ghost tours around Halloween; confirm hours with the museum.
