Hazelwood is a Greek Revival house built in 1837 on a hillside overlooking the Fox River, home for a century to three generations of the Morgan L. Martin family and now a museum of the Brown County Historical Society. It has hosted Haunted Hazelwood evenings with séances, palm readings and Poe stories, and Windigo Paranormal has run paranormal walk-throughs with investigation equipment. Local stories describe unexplained activity in the old house. The museum is open on a limited summer schedule, with group tours by appointment.
Open for tours by advance booking in summer, roughly June through August, Wednesday through Saturday; group tours by appointment. Check the historical society's site for events.
