The Graduate Providence, which opened in 1922 as the Biltmore, was named the most haunted hotel in Rhode Island by TripAdvisor and is among the stops on Providence ghost tours. The best-known story, told by local guides, is of a stockbroker who leapt to his death from a room after the October 1929 crash; guests also report slamming doors and sightings of ghosts.
Working hotel with a restaurant and bar; the public areas are open, and Providence ghost tours point out the building.
