The Ford Mansion in Morristown is a Georgian house built in the 1770s that served as General George Washington's headquarters during the harsh winter of 1779 to 1780, when the Continental Army camped nearby; it is part of Morristown National Historical Park. Morris County Tourism has offered a Ghostly Revelations at the Ford Mansion program on stories of ghosts from 1780 that may remain in the house, with photographs, audio recordings and theories from a paranormal study.
National Park Service site with a visitor museum; the house is open for guided tours on a seasonal schedule. Check the park for current hours.
