Irish immigrant Honoria Foley built this house in 1896 on land purchased after the Great Savannah Fire of 1889, opening it as one of the city's first bed and breakfasts. In 1987, construction workers renovating the building found a human skeleton concealed inside one of its walls; long-standing rumor holds it belonged to a wealthy boarder who vanished sometime in the 1800s and was killed for his money, though the case was never solved. Since the discovery, staff have reported a man in a top hat wandering the garden at night — nicknamed "Wally" — along with a little girl with a bow in her hair seen in the parlour and a presence many attribute to Honoria herself.
