The Donnelly House in Mount Dora was built in 1893 for John Donnelly, the town's first mayor, and his wife Annie, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The Freemasons have owned it since 1939, and the second floor holds the Mount Dora Masonic Lodge. It is said to be haunted by Annie Donnelly, who died there in 1908. Mount Dora Ghost Tours received permission to investigate inside in 2021 and began offering year-round paranormal-themed tours in 2022, which Visit Florida lists as the Donnelly House Paranormal Experience. The stories are told on the tours.
Working Masonic lodge and historic house; the interior is open through Mount Dora Ghost Tours' Donnelly House Paranormal Experience, a 2.5-hour ticketed program. Book through the tour company.
