The Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh is a 42-story Gothic Revival skyscraper completed in 1937, with a soaring Commons Room and more than two dozen Nationality Rooms. VisitPA's list of haunted places records shifting furniture and objects, cold spots and randomly flaring candles, and students tell of unknown spirits on the upper floors.
Public building open daily; the Commons Room and many Nationality Rooms can be visited, with guided tours on select days.
