The Bellamy Mansion on Market Street in Wilmington is a grand Italianate and Greek Revival house built in 1859 for a wealthy physician and planter, and its urban slave quarters survive on the grounds. It is now a museum of history and design arts. Wilmington ghost-tour guides tell of the spirits of an elderly couple seen in the second-floor windows, and the museum hosts ghost hunts on select dates.
House museum open most days with guided and self-guided tours; ghost hunts run on select evenings, so check the museum for dates.
