The Silver Terrace Cemeteries on the hill at the north end of Virginia City hold the burial grounds of many of the Comstock's miners, merchants and families, including fraternal and Masonic sections. Nevada haunted-places lists describe visitors who see a man, a woman and a child in period clothing, and a gravestone that glows from a distance after dark, and ghost tours and paranormal events visit the cemetery.
Public historic cemetery on the edge of town. Visit in daylight, treat the graves with respect and do not enter after dark.
