The Tokeland Hotel, on the shore of Willapa Bay, is a National Register of Historic Places hotel that dates to 1885. Rooms 4 and 7 are called its haunted rooms, and local tellings include a ghost named Charley, a Chinese worker said to have hidden behind a fireplace and died there, along with a ghost cat and flickering lights. The Charley story has no documentary support. It has operated as an inn and restaurant, so call ahead.
