Rock Ledge Ranch, now a living-history site in Colorado Springs, includes a building that served as a tuberculosis sanatorium in the 1800s. Staff describe lights switching on by themselves, footsteps on the upper floors, and an antique rocking chair in the basement that moves with no one in it.
Living-history site. The grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk, but the buildings, including the former sanatorium, are open only during the summer program and special events. Fees apply for those programs.
