The 1910 Gila County Jail in Globe once connected to the neighboring courthouse by a catwalk nicknamed the Bridge of Sighs. Its best-known story concerns Kingsley Olds, accused of drowning his employer's two young daughters in 1911 and shot while awaiting trial. Visitors and volunteers report voices, footsteps and cold spots, and Ghost Adventures investigated in 2018; these accounts are local lore.
Restored as a museum and visitor center; tours by appointment and on second Saturdays, with a suggested donation.
