The Museum of the Mountain West is a collection of relocated buildings, saloon and carriage house founded in 1997. The owner reports activity in a house moved from downtown Montrose, where visitors say they cannot step past the third stair, and in the carriage house. Ghost Adventures investigated in 2017; the accounts come from the owner and the production.
