Chateau Laroche, known as Loveland Castle, is a small stone castle on the Little Miami River built by hand from 1929 by World War I veteran and medievalist Harry D. Andrews, using stones from the riverbed and concrete poured in milk cartons. Local newspapers and the castle's volunteer "knights" have reported tales of ghosts there over the years, and ghost hunters have held overnight events. The castle is run by the Knights of the Golden Trail.
Open on a limited schedule, generally in the afternoons on weekends in season with a small admission; check the castle before visiting.
