Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa holds the art and artifacts collected by oilman Thomas Gilcrease, who died in 1962 and is buried in a mausoleum on the grounds. Tulsa Spirit Tours calls the Gilcrease House one of the most haunted places in Tulsa, and TravelOK retells reports that he still walks his collection and the path to his tomb, with staff describing banging noises on the second floor, cold spots, slamming doors and technical glitches. The museum has been closed since 2021 for a rebuilt main building, with reopening now planned for 2027.
The museum building is closed during rebuilding, with a reopening expected in 2027; the house and grounds have appeared on ghost tours, so check before visiting.
