Fitger's Inn on Duluth's lakefront occupies the restored Fitger's Brewery, which brewed beer from 1881 until 1972 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The boutique hotel has a long reputation among guests and staff as a paranormal hotspot. Visitors tell of the feeling of being watched, doors that close on their own and shadows moving at the edge of sight, and some name particular rooms as the most active. The inn remains a working hotel with views of Lake Superior.
An operating hotel with a restaurant and shops on Duluth's lakewalk; rooms can be booked.
