The Crystal Ballroom on West Burnside, opened in 1914 as Cotillion Hall, is known for its floating dance floor and is now a McMenamins music venue. Staff have reported disembodied laughter after closing. Local legend holds that a dancer named Lily Mae Vance collapsed and died on the floor during a marathon dance competition in 1926 and that her spirit still dances there.
Working concert venue; check the venue for shows and tours.
