Brother Sebastian's Steakhouse and Winery opened in Omaha in 1977 with dim lighting, walls of oak barrels and shelves of old books. A fire destroyed the restaurant in February 1996, and it was rebuilt and reopened eight months later. The resident ghost is called Bill, said to be a former regular who dined there almost every evening and who is described in tweed jacket and ascot, still seen at his favorite perch in the lounge. Omaha tourism guides repeat the story.
Operating restaurant in west Omaha; ask staff about Bill's usual seat in the lounge.
