The Apollo Civic Theatre in Martinsburg, a community theater in a 1913 building, is one of the four additions to West Virginia's Paranormal Trail in 2025 and was covered by Paranormal Quest. Its spirits are called George, an old man in plaid with a cigar seen in the back, and Charlie, a former caretaker in a fedora, and backstage reports include a presence that pushes people from behind. Records show no deaths in the theater, and its own history page does not mention ghosts, so these are theater lore.
Working community theater; check the box office for shows and the annual haunted production, and paranormal overnights are arranged with a local group.
